In the event that you wish to interview an artist or member of the Country music fraternity for Nashville Worldwide, please can you complete the below form before arranging anything.
As a station we need to make sure that we don’t double up on interviews or contact with artists, this gives the station a very unprofessional appearance.
All interviews for the station will need to be agreed by me in advance so as to not step on anyone’s toes, if you at=re the first to request you will be given priority however it may be the case that a DJ has been working very hard to get an interview with an artist and has just arranged it.
Please remember that we are just one station and all need to work together.
Interviews should run no longer that 15 minutes and be split into 2 parts for live to air.
After being aired interviews can if you want be put on the Nashville Worldwide website under the Interviews section.
Please be respectful, non confrontational and do not encroach on religious, political or racial matters.
We are here to entertain not run a news program.
Many thanks for your help in this matter

Tips for a good interview
- Please keep your interviews to a maximum of 15 minutes after edit.
- Try to ensure you are in a quite environment (live gigs are very bad locations)
- Turn all other sources of noise off or place on silent (TVs, Radios, Mobile phones, House phones)
- Have a set list of questions you want to ask the artist.
- Be flexible in the order of your questions, you will get more out of an artist if you let them talk in the order the want.
- Dont pressure an artist.
- Allow the artist time to reply, keeping quiet can sometimes produce some real gems.
- Always welcome the artist to the interview
- Always mention your name and that of Nashville Worldwide at the start of the interview (Eg. thank you for taking the time to talk with DJ NAME on Nashville Worldwide)
- Use Zoom where possible (this will give you 2 audio tracks, 1 for you and 1 for them making editing a lot easier)
- Please hold to your interview date and time but don’t be afraid to cancel if you are not feeling well.
- DO YOUR RESEARCH
