Ray was very fortunate to have been brought up in Central London by parents who loved music and bought LPs every week, he was therefore hearing all different sounds and living in the capital meant he was able to attend many music venues and many free outside music concerts.

As part of his work Ray met up with Wally Whyton, who then presented the BBC Country show. Wally introduced Ray to the Country scene which he was keen to do as he was not appreciating 80’s synth music. They met up a few times after at the Wembley Easter Country Music shows. Ray was sold on this genre and has been ever since.

Having been fortunate enough to have visited Austin and Nashville as well as attended shows at the Grand Ol Opry, Rays highlight was going to The Bluebird Café, and meeting up with new friends.

Ray’s Country music taste has widened considerably in that he will play anything that has that certain sound. So you can expect anything from Ray’s shows. Enjoy the music
