So a bit about my country music taste
I’ve always liked some country music from when i was young.
My mum loves 50s and 60s music so Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, The Everly Brothers and Patsy Cline were never too far away but it was Elvis Presley, who my mum loved who really peaked my Country interest.
When I got hold of his country album I was instantly hooked.
Growing up music was always playing, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton were some of my favourites until the late 90s early 2000s when I purchased Shania Twain’s album, for my mum it was Leann Rimes.
When the Johnny Cash movie Walk the line was released it added to and enhanced my listening even further.
In recent times with apps such as Spotify I have been able to explore Country music further and deeper discovering new bands.
